Monastery Pandokratoros
Moni Pandokratoros (greek-orthodox; holiday: 6th august; phone: 23770-23880)
The brothers Alexios and Johannes Strategopoulos founded this cloister in the 14th century. Alexios was involved under emperor Michael VIII in the back conquest of Constantinople. The transfiguration of Christ is consecrated.
Inside it has not only about 400 old handwritings and just 3.500 books, but as relics also the right foot as well as a leg of the apostle Andreas.
